Purpose
Technical Details
Materials Needed
Methods
Semi-high-throughput motility (swarming) assay, using 24 colonies on microtiter-sized omnitrays. [1]
Examples
Motility assays were performed by Sperandio et al.[2] at 37C on 0.3% agar plates containing: DMEM, DMEM + 50% DMEM preconditioned by growth of EHEC 86-24 or tryptone media (1% tryptone and 0.25% NaCl). The motility halos were measured at 8, 16 and 48 h.
