Multiloader VS Single Annotation Template

When working large amounts of data, such as high throughput papers, it is convenient to work with a loader that can add several annotation rows at any one time. OMPwiki solves this with the multiloader table. The basic outline of the annotations table after you enter your data will look like the figure below. As a reminder, you do not need spaces between the pipes and the annotation text.

When Looking at the same annotation in a single annotation template the only difference is that now the section labeled "phenotype of" in the multiloader, which is free text, has a pull down with preselected terms. These preselected terms should be used when free text entering data in the multiloader. Remember that these terms are case and spelling sensitive.

Editing within a row in single annotation template

When editing a row, for example in notes, hit your return key and add astrix to the new line and it will translate into a bullet point.

you can double return in order to have a space between your information, with astrix.

Editing within a row in Multiloader Table

When editing a row in multiloader you can also use html to organize your information. An asterix will still add a bullet point but hitting the return key will add a new row thus a new annotation defeating the purpose of the multiloader. Within the "Note" cell you can add several bulleted points with a double \n after the text that should be in the next line within the cell, not row.

Pay Attention to how the astrixes and \n are spaced out. If done incorrectly it will not look like your desired end product.

Your end product should be one line in the multiloader table, specifically the references cell, but several bulleted lines in the cell. Remember if your PMID links are red you typed something wrong.
