Phenotype Aspects

Phenotypic responses may differ in a species-dependent manner. An organism exposed to ozone may exhibit a mucoidy phenotype, while the same treatment may not elicit the same response in a different organism. That being said, the organism and its genotype should be connected to each entry. Also, the role of individual phenotypes in the grand scheme of bigger physiological processes should also be included. For instance, the role of a mucoid phenotype in biofilm formation should be documented.
